The first ever Dallas Comedy Festival will take place March 24-27, 2010. Dallas Comedy House is excited to be the host of DCF. All of the cool people will be at this festival. And you’re really cool.
Early submissions ($25 for improv/sketch, $10 for standup) are due January 15, 2010. Late submissions ($40 for improv/sketch and $20 for standup) are due January 31, 2010.
All groups accepted will be notified by February 5, 2010 when the final performance schedule will be posted.
Submission requirements:
1. 20 minutes of video from live performances of your group. We’ll take a link or a DVD. Please mail DVD’s to: _____ or email submissions@thedallascomedyfestival.com. All DVD’s become property of The Dallas Comedy Festival.
2. A really good essay to submissions@thedallascomedyfestival.com about why your group wants to be accepted to The Dallas Comedy Festival and what makes your group stand out from the others.
3. Money. Submission fees are paid via PayPal. Please use the link on the right side of the page to make your payment.
4. Committment. We want groups who are planning on sticking around all weekend. We want people who’ll be watching every show. We want people prepared to take part in the greatest improv festival after party of all time.
